7 1/2 Month Update!

Well hello everyone! I can finally say that the fall weather has set in here in Georgia and man is it nice. It has been so beautiful all day, I've had the windows open upstairs and down. Sarge and Trooper love the fall, they get so spunky when the weather starts changing. Tonight they chased eachother around the yard for about 30 minutes. It was so cute.

Everything has been going exceptional well. We had our 7 month checkup last Friday (9/29) and everything went well. I have gained 13 pounds since last month. I don't see how though! We have started walking, eating more healthy, and even not going out to eat as much...guess it doesn't matter! LOL!

Last Saturday was my second baby shower hosted by my sister-in-law Marissa and best friend Tasha. They did an awesome job. Everything was setup beautifully. They decorated in pink and baby noahs ark. They really went overboard. I had 2 bouquets of flowers, one roses and one carnations. They also made me a special necklace of mini baby items (pacifiers, baby pins, etc). They even made candle holders with ribbon that matches Tristyn's room. I was so impressed by all that they did. You should see the cake - it's gorgeous! It looked like an old fashioned baby carriage. I got a ton of gifts, mainly clothing, towels, wash cloths, and items of that nature. I also got the sound and lights baby monitor and Eddie Bauer Travel System (stroller) off of my registry. Melanie (Josh's mom) got us the stroller. It is so cool! We've already got it set up and Krisanne already installed the car seat in Josh's truck...LOL! We just left it in there so we can figure out how it works. We need practice!

Last night we ordered the matching armoire to Tristyn's crib. However, it is on back order and will not be delivered until around 12/22. I am a little upset about that but I guess I will have to get over it. I ended up getting a good deal, somehow the CSR on the phone got the armoire to be shipping to the store, saving me $100 in shipping fees! I was so excited when he told me that I started dancing around the room! LOL! I don't think that we are going to get the changing table / hutch piece anymore. I am going to put that beautiful unfinished dresser that Tracye gave me in Tristyn's closet and use it for clothing unless Leslie will refinish it for me. Not much else has been going on around here!Hope all is well with everyone!
