35 Week Checkup

Hello all! I just got home from a pretty eventful day. I left the house this morning around 10:15am to be at the OBGYN by 10:40am for my 35 week checkup. Once I got there I realized that my appointment time was 10:20am! Opps! They somehow worked me in regardless of me being 20 minutes late. I thought this was going to be a big appointment but it wasn't, just a regular 'ole boring one. They checked my weight, urine, blood pressure, heartbeat, measured the belly, etc. The Dr. said she estimates Tristyn's weight to be around 7lbs at birth, thank goodness! We go back next Wednesday for the Group B Strep test and hemoglobin screening.

After that I went and filled up the Exp at QT and stopped by Arby's and had a roast beef sandwhich before heading to Perimeter to take my Stats final. The final was like 6 pages long and it took me the entire 2 hours to do it. I'm so glad it's over with for now! I'm looking forward to my break from school! I got out of there around 3pm and had to stop by Linens 'N Things to pickup the last of my Christmas shopping.

Tonight Josh and I are going to have dinner with his cousin Alisha and her boyfriend at The Olive Garden in Buford. I'm looking forward to having a "semester-end" celebration! I'm also looking forward to having another piece of that black tie mousse cake! YUM!

Tomorrow Josh is taking off a half day from work to spend time with me. I don't have much planned besides cleaning house and cooking dinner for the Jackson Family Christmas gathering. The final menu is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, greenbean casserole, biscuits/crescent rolls and for dessert I am making fudge brownies and vanilla bean ice cream. Mom is baking a hot todie pie to bring also. Should be fun :)

Last night Josh and I went on a wild goose chase at JCPenney's looking for some fire truck clocks for Dad. He's so goofy. We also had to go to Old Navy to pickup a baby gift for Josh's aunt down in Barnesville. They were totally sold out of everything newborn! It looked like a tornado had gone through! After that we went by Wally~World to take back a table cloth and pickup some things. I finally got my photo Christmas cards! We also got 3 new DVD's; Mary Poppins, iRobot, and some other one that I can't remember the name of. We came home and I made tacos and then he watched iRobot while I addressed the Christmas cards.

Next week is going to be pretty eventful! I don't have anything planned yet for Monday and Tuesday, but on Wednesday I have a doctors appointment sometime in the afternoon. On Thursday I have a hair appointment (thank goodness!) at 10:00am with Chad in Duluth and then we are doing the Bottoms' Christmas gathering around 5pm. We are meeting for dinner at La Parilla Mexican and then I believe we'll go over to Jimmy and Brenda's to exchange gifts. Then Friday is Christmas Eve with Josh's mom and Saturday is Christmas!

Gotta go wrap some presents and get ready for dinner!
