Here She Grows Again!

Wow, from 5 to 6 months Tristyn has changed entirely. Her whole personality and demeanor has blossomed into a playful, screeching, smiley little girl. She now has 2 teeth on her bottom gums, both are coming out at the same pace. I also think that she is starting to get one on the top gum. She is trying her hardest to sit up by herself. She has almost got it down pat but wobbles from time to time and smacks into the floor. While she sits in her rocker or on the couch she always has to sit straight up. It is hard to get decent photos of her now because she's always leaning slightly forward. Besides the new teeth and sitting up she is also starting to get on her hands and knees to rock back and forth. Just this weekend Josh and I were practicing the "crawling stance" with her, since then she has started doing it on her own while she's on the floor playing. It is just amazing to see her get up on her own now.

I e-mailed family and friends some photos of Tristyn this weekend and Josh got to see them when he arrived at work today. He called me on the phone and said that he had to quit looking at them because he started to tear up. It is just so surreal how time passes us by so quickly. Our precious baby girl is nearly 6 months old. Before we know it she is going to be going off to college.

Today we played dress up, trying to find an outfit to have her portrait made in. I remembered that her Aunt M had purchased a handmade Georgia Bulldawg outfit last summer at a craft fair. I pulled it out and put her in it and she looked adorable! So tomorrow we are going to have her portrait made in it, along with a little stuffed bulldawg that we have.

This week my Aunt Di from Florida is staying with us. Last night we got take out from the Chinese place and then rented 'Hitch' and 'Coach Carter'. Both movies were awesome and I highly recommend them to everyone. I think they are both my new favorites movies. Today we all just hung around the house and got some things accomplished. Di and I went to the grocery store and got the ingredients for a homemade chili recipe from my Father. It simmered on the stove all day and was absolutely delicious by 6pm.

A couple of pictures of the rapidly growing Tristy...

Love the handmade outfit! Don't you just love playing dress-up?! Have fun getting her portrait done tomorrow. Hope she cooperates! That's so cute that Josh got teary-eyed at work looking at the pics of his little girl. Jason has that same problem!

They grow so fast! It's amazing how in just a few months things start to dramatically change, and they actually become little people with real emotions and little attitudes! It only gets better...harder...but better! lol Your daughter is very cute!

She is sooo cute! And getting so big. I know just how you feel - you want to grab her and say "Stay little a bit longer!" Love the pic after her bath. And once she gets on hands and knees it can be a matter of days till she starts moving - get ready!

Awwwwww . . . these pics are just adorable! Your baby girl IS getting big! But it's so cool that you get to spend every day with her. I want so badly to be a stay-at-home mom but it just won't be possible. I'm so jealous of you! You are able to be there for every milestone and remember everything. I'm glad you're just having a blast.

I think it may be a form of child abuse to dress your sweet, innocent baby in a Georgia Bulldogs ensemble.
I'm afraid I'll have to perform my civic duty and report you to social services.

Go Gators!
