Monday Mumble

This past weekend was a great one for our little family. On Thursday night my old friend Tasha came over to stay with me so I would not have to be alone (hub's is working nights) and I really enjoyed our time together. I got to see her little one, Mason, for the first time in a month or two. I actually fell asleep on the couch while she was here...guess I was just more comfortable having her around than being alone. It's always so hard for me to fall asleep while I'm here alone. The next morning we got up and fed the kids then went to pick up my sister-in-law Ju from work. We went to Publix and got some sandwiches for lunch, my favorite! I came home and had lunch with Josh and then us girls headed off to local consignment sales. For the 2nd weekend in a row my backseat was packed with carseats. We had Tasha and I in the front, 3 carseats in the middle, and poor Ju in the very back. It was hilarious. Everytime we had to get out of the car I would have to go around to the back door to let Ju out! I felt like I was keeping her imprisoned!

After 3 or 4 sales we decided it was time for dinner and headed to Chili's to meet some girlfriends. We had some drinks and a nice meal and then headed to drop Ju off at her house. Tasha and I went back to my house to feed the kids again and then Jeremy and Ju picked us up to head over to Alea's for the evening. We ended up staying over pretty late just chatting with the ladies. It was really a nice day spent with great people. Tasha and I needed a chance to catch up and we did just that. Hopefully she will come visit more often ;)

Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party to go to for Tristyn's friend. It was at a kids play gym down the road that we had never been to before. At first I was worried that Tristyn would not be able to participate in the activities but she had a blast. As soon as we got there and I set her down she never thought about turning back. She walked her little butt all over that gym and played with everything in sight. She even got in the bouncer with the big kids! I was so proud of her. Needless to say she was tired as can be once we got in the car and fell asleep within seconds.

Yesterday of course I was alone because Josh had to work. I spent the day cleaning house and chatting on the phone with friends. Lately it seems as though the few good friends I have have been there for me more than I could ever have imagined. I had 2 invites to go out last night so that I would not have to be alone, and well guess what, I felt like being alone! It is just nice to know that I am thought of by them while I am here alone. You know who you are and if you are reading this I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I really love you all ;)

Tonight is dinner with HS girlfriends. We're going to Mexican out by them so I'm in for a long drive...but it should be fun. My one girlfriend is telling the rest of them that she's 11 weeks pregnant...finally! Looking forward to their reactions...
