Since I am a lonely boring housewife these days I've decided to start playing SPF again. Fun for the whole family!
Here is my "lovely" couch. Notice I put quotation marks around the word lovely. I despise this couch. It is like a dog hair magnet. I probably spend 25 days a year just vacuuming it.
Next up, my candles. I have a ton of smell good candles but here are the ones I keep on my mantle. There is a small votive in the hurricane glass that is surrounded by my Cuban seaglass.
Finally, my coat. Hopefully it will not be getting any use for the rest of the season! Goodbye winter, hello spring!

This weekend is pretty jam packed full of events. Friday is St Patricks Day which is also the birthday of 2 people very close to us. I will be going shopping with Ju for birthday gifts and to get some fabric to cover her glider chair and ottoman. I think we will go out to a nice little lunch and enjoy the day together. I'm looking forward to getting out of this house.
Tonight my Mom came over and we went shopping. We got Tristyn a cute little Disney Princess sofa that turns into a bed so she can nap comfortably in the living room. I got some organizing materials so I can get the closets and office whipped into shape next week. I'm planning on tearing out everything and re-organizing this place. We're planning on turning the office into a playroom so that will be a difficult task....moving the fish tank and all! After we returned from shopping Mom got out her garden gloves and planted some flowers in my pots on the front porch. It really looks great and adds some color to our front entrance (red of course, my signature color!).
It is late and Tris and I are headed to bed. I am looking forward to Saturday so I can finally spend some time with my hubby. Although we are hosting a lunch for his Mother's birthday, but it is in the afternoon. Hopefully we can get some quality family time in afterwards...we miss him terribly!

Saturday turned out to be a success, even with all of Melanie's little comments about how she thinks they overstayed their welcome *rolls eyes*

I have to say I'm also addicted to candles and that I can't wait to put away the winter jacket.
I love your pictures . . . I have a sofa like that!! Man, I thought that these little chihuahuas weren't supposed to shed!! What is up with that?! I love you new look too!! How do you do it so often and so cute!!?
