Running on EMPTY

Instead of taking down the gas price signs in our local area they should just start displaying the picture above! We drove around for 20 minutes today in search of fuel for my gas guzzling vehicle, to no avail. Every single gas station in our area is COMPLETELY dry. We drove by the QT close to our house and the line was out into the flow of traffic so we decided to try again after our trip to Wal-Mart. 15 minutes later we drove by and the station was completely empty! With 5 miles left until empty we decided to just head home. WHAT IS GOING ON?!!! I guess we'll keep our vehicle parked for the next week or so!

So the boys drove around for an hour and a half last night and could not find gas ANYWHERE! This morning on my mom's way over she spotted a station that had just gotten refilled so I drove up there on fumes (0 miles until empty!) and was only able to get $30 worth which is a 1/4 tank for me!

It's really starting to get kind of scary with the economy going down the drains! Hope you find gas soon! We got gas last night in my vehicle and then this morning Russell went out to top off his tank and same problem as you guys...no gas ANYWHERE!

The worst part about all this is that in middle and south Georgia and Florida, there is absolutely no shortage. We just got home from Florida--every gas station had gas, and there were no waits what-so-ever. The price was almost a $1 cheaper, too! What the hell?!
