Addiction

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Here it is! My latest greatest addiction...Digital Scrapbooking. Thanks to Zoe over at Fresh Preserves, my computer has now become buried in layers upon layers of digital scrapbooking stuff! It is just the coolest thing ever. Before Tristyn arrived I had plenty of time to scrapbook the traditional way. Now that she is here I hardly have time for anything so this makes scrapping so much easier, less mess, and so much less expensive. If you are interested in trying it out here are a few good starter sites with free kit downloads: Shabby Princess, Two Peas in a Bucket, and Digital Design Essentials.

The first page I created is of Tristyn minutes after she was born. I promise I will work on more pages until I catch up with all of her current photos, and I will post pictures of each page when I am finished. Thanks Zoe!

Hi Taylor. Thanks for leaving your comments on my blog. It's always nice when someone has some feedback for me.

You already know this, but your daughter is SOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!! I could just eat her up. I simply can't wait until mine are here so I can hug, kiss, smell, and enjoy them all day long. Don't you just love the scent of a newborn?

Tristyn is such an angel, who wouldn't want to devote a whole blog to her? Have fun and keep those pictures coming! They make me look forward to my own mommy experience even more.

Sooo cute!

Thanks for your comment on my site! I actually didn't use a kit for the beach page- the background is one of my photos, and the shells are part of an Adobe Illustrator library I downloaded and then edited in Photoshop. I do sometimes use paper and elements I find, but more often than not I create stuff myself since I'm pretty handy with Photoshop. I'm thinking about actually putting some kits together to sell, though.

I love digital scrapbooking. I always wanted to do paper, but never had the time/money.. not that I have much time now, but I definitely have the motivation!

Thanks for the links! Another good site is http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/

I also wanted to say thanks for commenting on my blog! I agree with Katie, it is always nice to have comments on your posts!

Awesome job on the digital scrapbooking!! I would love to go digital. I just finished Alyssa's first year on Sunday, but it is paper scrapbook.

Tristyn is a beautiful baby girl and I LOVE that name!!
