While Mom took care of Tris I started packing up all of her 0-3 month clothing. I had a moment there for a second looking at the tiny little articles of clothing, but in a way I felt happy that my baby is growing and turning into such a beautiful little person. The past month has really been awesome with her. I feel like we can interact so much now, I just love it. I got most of her stuff packed away which is a big relief. Hopefully one day soon I will have all of her laundry done - there is a TON!
Today Tristyn turned 4 months old. Happy 4 month birthday Tris! No cake and ice cream on the menu...just a bottle full of apple pedialite! Sorry babe!...I am praying that she gets well soon. I am starting to get worried about her. She has not been sleeping well today and she refused to eat most of her 4pm bottle. At her 8pm feeding she still didn't finish her normal serving size. I hope the pedialite does its job.
Not much is going on with me, just the same 'ole stuff. I cooked dinner tonight and watched American Idol and then Britney Spears' new show. Anyone else see it? It was ridiculous. I wonder how much she got paid for that! I could easily make a movie about myself that would be far more interesting than hers - but I am sure no one would want to watch it, LOL!
Tomorrow my friend Brandy is coming by to watch Tristyn for a little while so I can get some things done around the house. She is such a sweetheart - she called today and offered to do it. Afterwards we are going to check out several places for her wedding reception. Wish us luck!
I hope everyone is doing well...I would love to hear from you ;)
Ohhh, like I promised...here is a picture of Trooper's new haircut (courtesy of Gamaw!).

Happy 4 months to your poor little sick baby!
I packed up T's clothes last week.. it was so hard. Realistically, even if we have another boy (I am hoping for a girl- I always wanted a son first then a daughter) we'll get tons of new stuff as gifts so there's no need to keep it. But I can't bear to get rid of anything just yet.
I totally agree about 3 months being a turning point. Up til then all we had was screaming and crying and eating and (sometimes) sleeping. Now I kind of feel like I have this sweet, silly, cranky teddy bear.
I have to say I'm glad there's another 4 mo out there about T's weight (he's about 12.5 lbs, and was about 9.5-10lbs at his 2 mo appt) because I keep running into these giant babies. Like 18-20 pounders his age. I know that's not normal (I mean, aren't they supposed to be around 20lbs at a year?) but I can't help but wonder, and worry a little.
Oh, happy 4 months! :) I hope that you had cake at least . . . he he! You know, it is weird but when my oldest had his first b-day, I felt like I should get a present too! I hope that you have a nice break tomorrow! What an awesome friend. By the way, your doggie is sooo cute!!
Tristyn is just adorable! She's six days older than my son--isn't it going fast?
Your friend is so sweet to come help.
(oh! and I love the scrapbook page!)
I love your blog!
Happy 4 months to your little cutie!! Don't worry about the weight thing. Our 4 month appointment was a sick appointment too and I don't remember his exact weight, but it was around what hers is. I just have a skinny little man!
That pedialyte is miraculous stuff! Hope it does its magic!
