Okay, it's 1:15am and I am still wide awake. Josh went to bed before me so he took Tristyn up with him. I just went to get in bed and found Tristy in her crib. She normally is in the bed with us. She started sleeping in her crib when she was 3 months old (for some reason I said that at that age I would be more comfortable with her being alone) and then I just stopped putting her in there. I guess I am scared. Scared of what might happen while I am away from her. I absolutely hate her being in her room. I feel like she is out of my reach and something bad is going to happen. I am a total worry-wart-paranoid-freakazoid who always imagines the worst. I just cannot help it.
I was ready for bed, but now that I know T isn't going to be in the bed with me I cannot sleep. So I've already put away all of the laundry and I am about to do dishes and finish organizing this office. I'll probably be up late WORRYING. Please help me!
PS - I promise to post some funny pictures of Tris in the morning.

You and I have the whole "freak" thing in common... Emmy is over a year old and I am still that way... Maybe by the time they are 18 we will be over it! LOL
Ok Ok Ok...Stop freaking out! I'm hear to lighten it up for you! Trust me when I say that once I get the two young ones 6 and 4 in bed...my peace and quiet of a night begin. I love that part of the night.
My first daughter was so early that once she finally got home, she stayed in my room in her bassinet until she was 6 months. Yes, she was small. I just think you're feeling the normal things. So, for 2 and 3 I just bought the bigger cradle, so they could stay in my room until 4-5 months.
Just breathe...she's going to be fine. You've had her with you for so long, it's no wonder you're scared at night. Just use the baby monitor and be happy she likes her crib. That's awesome!
XOXO

What an adorable daughter you have!!!
Believe me, you're not the only worry wart. I totally know the feeling. I do it all the time...unfortunately.
Hope you got some sleep!
I remember the scared feeling. I still get that way sometimes, but not as bad. Our bedroom is upstairs and the boys is on the main floor. It will get better! Hugz~
I think I can totally relate! (even though I'm not officially there yet!) In my head, I'm already freaking out. You're not alone. It'll just take longer for some of us to "relax."
Hunny, I hope you're feeling better today. Just remember, you're doing the best you can. Even four months after baby, your hormones are still all over the map. Just cuddle and rock that precious girl of yours. She's beautiful.
I have to get more pictures into my blog. You guys are sooo good!
XOXO

let me tell you, the worrying part, it never really goes away. it diminishes over time, but's it's gonna be there up to the time she moves out!:)
my daughter's six but we still keep her baby monitor on...
Yeah, I'm a freakazoid worrywart and Braden isn't even here yet. No advice for ya... but I know the worry!
Oh, and Tristyn is absolutely ADORABLE!! Looking forward to seeing some more pics
And! My anniversary is TODAY!! We got married Memorial weekend too!! Happy Anniversary!
Here here!! I think that something weird happens when you have a baby. It is like a trigger goes off in your head and you start to imagine all of the things that could (butmostlikelyneverinamillion years) happen. Funny thing is, I used to worry about Asher all of the time, then, when Myles was born . . . I started worrying about him instead. Don't even get me started on how I used to worry about my husband before we even had kids!! LOL!! :) You are an awesome Momma!
My oldest is 12 years old and I *STILL* get that way. I don't think it will ever go away!!
Ahhhhh, but think about the pure and continuous sleep you are getting with Tristyn in her own safe little crib.
A certain Peanut that I know insists on snorting, chuffing and making a million sounds if she's not snuggled between Papa Duck and me. Cozy? Yes. efficient for good sleep? Not at all my friend.
I WANT A NEW ENTRY!!! Just joking...I'm sure you are busy. Hey, I have some stuff that I'm getting rid of if you are interested. You are one of the only ones I know with a small baby, so let me know if you are interested. You can check out my Sunday blog entry.
