Green is Good

On Monday, Tristyn had her first bite of real food. Can you guess what it was? Green Beans! She loves 'em. Today is her third day on solid food and she has yet to have a problem. I think I am going to give her another day of the green beans and then start on carrots. I am going to do 4 days of each food until she has gone through all of the Stage 1 foods. By the way, Kroger is having a baby food sale on Del Monte Natures Goodness - 10 for $3. I stocked up, thanks to my neighbor Stephanie.

Last night Tristyn was a handful. She was extremely cranky and fussy. It must have been gas because as soon as the Mylicon Drops kicked in she was fine. She is rarely ever cranky so last night was a little treat! LOL!

Oh, more exciting news! Tristyn is learning how to roll over from her back to her belly. She can do it half way but I am sure by next week she will have it mastered. Before long I am going to have a rolly poly on my hands! Yikes!

Gracie's doing the rollover thing too (as I'm sure you've read). She still can't grasp the belly back over to the back thing. As for the babyfood, how old do they say to start them on that? She just started cereal, so I'm sure not for a little while yet. Anywho, glad she likes green beans and her gas drops helped!! Nothing sucks more than a poor, gasy baby!!

All I can say is I can't wait to do what you're doing - the feeding and watching your baby take new, exciting new steps in life every day! How fun! Enjoy 'em while they last. (I hear kids grow up too fast.) :-O

My kids loved baby food too! I started them with sweet potatoes. It's funny to see their faces when they eat all the new foods.

The Triscuit is a Beanie Baby!!!!
Wish I could see her face when she takes a big bite.
If she's gassy... well, she's simply taking after your Dad. :)

She's going to be rolling all over the beach cottage when we're on vacation in just a month!

Love you,
T.

Yay for Tristyn!!!! Pretty soon she will be very mobile and watch out world, here she comes!!!!

Yes, green is good! Wait until she's about 4 and has a mind of her own to say "I don't like that!" That is fun, NOT! I always make my kids at least try it once. They usually end up liking it in the end! I hope she continues to eat everything you put on her plate!
