Her 6 month checkup was last Wednesday. She is now 16.1lbs which is in the 50th percentile and 27 inches long - 90th percentile. She received two shots and did excellent, not crying until the second shot was over with. I am starting to believe that she has a high tolerance for pain. Her next checkup isn't until October, so that is a nice little break from going to the doctor.
Tristyn has started crawling and sitting up on her own! For several weeks she has been getting up on all fours and wobbling back and fourth which was very impressive, atleast Mommy and Daddy thought so. Since Sunday she has really begun to move around, at first she would get up on all fours move one arm forward and then lunge herself to the ground, get back up and do it again until she got to her destination. From Sunday she really has improved her technique, she is no longer lunging herself (good thing because I thought she was going to get hurt!) but taking several "crawl steps" at a time. Yesterday she made her way across the living room several times and then once into the foyer and tried to climb the stairs. Yes, I am going to buy a baby gate tomorrow! Today I was in the kitchen washing dishes and she crawled all the way in there and smacked the hard floor for about 30 minutes. I guess she likes the sound :)
Today was her first time of going from a laying position to sitting straight up. I was on the phone with her Daddy while she did it, we were both going "Omigosh, she growing up so fast, make her stop!". It's so bittersweet really. I love watching her grow but it kills me to know that these moments are soon going to be just memories. Sigh. That's the game of life.

Gosh, she *is* growing up so fast! T is too, but he's still a bit of a peanut (15lbs 12oz, 25.5 in).

Omigosh...they do grow so fricken quick, don't they? Gracie's going to be 6 months on Sunday. It's definetely bitter sweet. I love watching her go through different stages, but on the other hand, it's sad because she's growing so fast!

She really has grown up. I can't believe how much noise she makes. She is sooo cute. I can't wait till she starts walking and I get to really play with her. But I'm sure you can wait...hehe.
