So what do you think?
I love the feeling of accomplishment after a task like this. The picture only shows a small portion of our kitchen, so needless to say we painted a lot more than what you see. Stay tuned for Weekend House Project #16!
Tristyn helping...

*edited to add* our kitchen is open to our breakfast room and living room (which is a tan color) so the red is like an accent color. In the pictures it looks darker and so confined.
Don't you just hate it when Blogger eats your posts? It drives me crazy!

I hate spammers! 3 spams within 5 minuts of this post going up!
Wow Taylor! That looks really good. Nice color choice. Now you will be in the kitchen cooking all of the time enjoying the new look! Make us something yummy!
I haven't ever posted before but I enjoy reading your blog. I just want to say that if you turn on word verification in your comments you won't have any problem with spammers but I see you already have it turned on. Hmm, yes spammers are annoying.
I love it Tay!!! Ian and I are still working in our house project...I wasn't lying when I said I hope it will be done by xmas!!LOL
Thanks for the comments guys!
Steph - I have been doing some yummy cooking lately. This weekend I made your artichoke dip recipe and it was great :)
Di - We should do a girls evening sometime. It would be nice to see you for a while! I will work on recaps from the season ;)
Jaime - Thanks for stopping by, I'm about to come visit you.
Kari - I'm jealous of your hot tub!
OOOOOOOOHHH, I love that color!!! Looks great!!! Looks like what we did w/ our living room and dining room a few weeks ago! A new coat of paint sure makes or breaks a room, doesn't it?!
I LOVE IT.
It really looks great. Now, you've really got me itching to paint something!
Oh girl - that is gorgeous! The color changes EVERYTHING! WOW! Great job! ... I wish I could paint mine that color - unfortuantly the people who lived here before had some kind of obsession with sunflowers and it's wallpapered everywhere. It'll be more than a weekend project! :p
LOVE the pics of Tris down below. She gets cuter and cuter! The one with her against the red pillows should be framed :)
I LOVE IT!!! It makes me want to go and paint my walls!! Great job!
