34 Week Update

Monday was my 34 week appointment with the OB. I have gained two more pounds for a total of 16.  The babies heartbeat sounded good but my fundal height hadn't changed since my last appointment two weeks ago. Because of this we are scheduled for an ultrasound on Thursday morning at 9:20am. Our midwife said baby could be lying in a different position or could have already started dropping and did not seem too concerned, but wanted to take a peek to check things out just in case. Other than being a little freaked out, I am very at peace because I know that everything is just fine. For some reason I have just been much smaller this time around! I really think the baby has dropped or changed position because I am much more comfortable than I was two weeks ago. I know that sounds odd, but I don't feel like baby is up in my ribs anymore and I'm not having as many breathless episodes I was having even last week. Otherwise everything is going great. I finally started feeling back up to par and have been nesting like a madwoman. I still have to wash all of the infant linens and car seat cover, but other than that we are pretty well set. I have started packing the hospital bag, as funny as it sounds I cannot remember what in the world to put in there! Hahaha! The pack-n-play has been completely scrubbed and sanitized (that was an all day project!) and setup with the bassinet next to our bed. My goal is to have all of the linens and seat covers washed and packed/put up by the end of the week. Only 37 days until D-Day, although I'm praying we meet the little prince or princess soon before then!
