This Easter holiday was the first time in several years we have been able to spend the day with Josh, for that I am so very grateful! We had a wonderful weekend together, although he was exhausted from a busy week at work and school. Saturday he awoke rather early to complete a course final and then came home to nap. The kids and I went grocery shopping and cleaned the house. I was surprised by how much energy I had all day Saturday, I got a lot accomplished very quickly. Late Saturday afternoon we headed up to the farm for a little outdoor relaxation and a taco dinner, although we only stayed a few hours. Sunday morning we awoke early and headed to 12Stone for their Easter Sunday worship. It was our fist visit at 12Stone since Easter 2004...much has changed in those six years, we're now a happily expanding family of almost FIVE! We absolutely loved the service, although the place was so packed we had to sit in the "cafe theatre" and watch on a screen. In our bible we found the handout from our last visit, which was Easter '04, and reminisced about our lives at that point. The coincidence took me by surprise a little, but I am taking it as a sign from God that we were definitely in the right place on Sunday. Over the past several months we have tried out a few different churches in hopes of finding our "home" but haven't found the right place yet. We are planning to attend 12Stone for the next series and see how we like it. Anyway, after church we stopped by to visit Brad and Alea for a while and then headed to Hurricane Shoals Park for a pavilion picnic with Josh's family. We spent the day playing with the kids, relaxing in lounge chairs and listening to the roar of the shoals, egg hunting and eating lots of yummy food. We ended up staying rather late and headed home to chill out for a while before bed. We had a wonderful Easter weekend and our family is so thankful to have spent it together! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and two (almost three!) children who I adore more than life itself! LIFE IS GREAT!

This week Josh has a lot on his plate with work and starting a new course in school. He is doing amazingly well balancing his career while continuing his education. I am amazed by how motivated and dedicated he is at this stage of his life. He never ceases to amaze me with his willpower and endurance. I think I would have had a meltdown or given up long before now. Luckily he doesn't have much longer before he finished his BS. Once that is completed he is pretty sure he will continue on and get his MBA, which should only take a year longer. Maybe once he's finished I can return to school as well, we shall see.

The pregnancy is keeping me down this week it seems. Yesterday I completely exhausted and literally sat in one spot until bedtime. I even ordered in chinese for dinner and played movies for the kids to cure their boredom. Today I feel just about as lifeless as I did yesterday. I absolutely hate feeling this way and I feel guilty for not accomplishing my duties or playing with the children. If I could, I would sleep ALL day. I hate to say this, but I am already looking forward to this pregnancy being over and having my normal energy level back, lack of sleep or not. I can deal with sleepless night, this however is completely out of my control and nothing I can do can make me feel any better. 11 weeks and counting! This Saturday is my "Baby Sprinkle" that my wonderful sister-in-laws are hosting in honor of B3. I am very excited to see everyone and celebrate, but a little disappointed because so many cannot attend. It will still be a wonderful day to celebrate, hopefully it will help me get in gear to get the final preparations underway...it still just doesn't seem real! That probably has to do with the fact that we're waiting to find out the gender and still have not decided on any names...makes it a little more distant.
28 Weeks....
