Tristyn's Crib

Tonight Josh & I picked up Tristyn's crib from the JCPenney's in Buford. Mom bought it for us last week as her gift to Tristyn. It did not take much to assemble and it looks great. It is an "antique white" and a little distressed looking. I am so in love with it :) We hope to get the rest of her furniture within the next couple of weeks (hutch, bookshelf, & armoire, all on our registry at www.jcpenney.com). Leslie is coming to meet with me on October 5th to take a look at Tristyn's room to get some ideas for painting. I am really excited about that. Everything seems to be coming together so wonderfully.

Last week I actually "saw" Tristyn move! I was sitting on the couch reading my "What to Expect When You are Expecting" book, and I felt her start to move and I looked down and saw my belly making really funny movements! It was so neat. Nobody else has gotten the chance to see her move yet but I'm hoping she'll squirm for her Daddy sometime soon!

The date is offical for Tasha & Marissa's shower - Saturday, October 30th. They are hosting it at the Laurel Park Clubhouse (Glenn & Bev's neighborhood) in Sugar Hill. It's a really nice clubhouse and I know everything will just be great. With Tasha & Marissa working together to plan the shower I know it's going to be a blast :) I'm thankful to have such great friend and sister-in-law!

Time to head off to bed...tomorrow morning is our 6 month checkup at the OBGYN and Josh still has to take our 6 month pictures tonight! We are offically 6 months and 4 days but we won't tell anyone ;) I'll post the updated 6 month pictures, my ring pictures, and pictures of Tristyn's crib on the site sometime tomorrow night.
